Musa Gracilis Flower

Musaceae (banana family) consists of large herbaceous perennial plants. Musa gracilis is claimed to be the shortest banana in Peninsular Malaysia with stem height normally less than 1 meter (Kiew 1987). Most of the populations were also found near water bodies signifying the need to stay close to water sources.
